This weekend I painted all my kitchen cabinets, and the walls. Now I remember why I paid someone to do it in the old house! NIGHTMARE! Thankfully, I had my oh so creative and talented momma there to help me. She did most of the cabinet work and I did most of the painting. We did the cabs a creamy color, still very white though, and the walls are kind of a mix between pistachio icecream and apple green. It's called Dill, but doesn't look too dill to me. My granite is very dark, which I hate, but it looks great with the light kitchen. I am getting a new stainless dishwasher to match my fridge, then in the fall i'm going to get a matching stainless stove, oven, and microwave. YEAH!! I also got fabric for drapes, my favorite! My kitchen is going to have a shabby plaid look, and my living room is a Ralph Lauren linen floral. My walls will be cream with bead board.....can't wait!!! Even got fabric to do a padded ottoman! LOVE IT! Pics to come I promise!
