So besides finding out on Monday that little miss is the "adorable baby of the week" at the Tiny Prints blog, we also found out that Lilly Grace possibly has H1N1. On Monday after a day of shopping for her big second birthday party, out of the blue, Lilly spiked a 104 fever. I rushed her to the minor ER clinic where they did a swine flu test, which came back negative. They checked her blood to check her white blood count, and poor thing even had to get a catheter to see if she had a UTI or kidney infection. Apparently, little girls can get those and get a raging fever along with it. Everything checked out OK. If she did in fact have H1N1, her white blood count would have showed it right? All of our tests came back negative and they decided to put her on Tamiflu just for good measure. However, our little diagnosis slip they gave us says "diagnosis: undefinied." Hmmmmm......
So she started the meds on Monday and yesterday was the first day that I haven't been doing the motrin/tylenol bit every three hours. Little Lilly seems fine and dandy! No fever, nothing. She never lost her appetite or had any other symptoms except a fever. Who knows!
We decided to wait until Wednesday to see how she was doing and she was fine so we are going on with her birthday party as planned! Most of my family is coming in and I can not wait to see everyone, should be a great time!
Anyways, so now we can focus on the fun this weekend! Here's Lilly at 16 months...
These were the precious overalls her Pixi made her for Christmas. She looked so cute in them. I decided to use these pics today because Lilly was actually wearing them today! We had to loosen the straps a lot, but she still looked cute as a button!
