Great day with Lilly!

Today was such a fun day with my Lilly girl!  Daddy is out of town hunting so we did a little girl time with some much needed shopping.  We really only went to Homegoods and called it a day, but Lilly was so good while we were there!  I was so proud of her!  When I put her in the car after we were done I turned around and looked at that little one and just told her how proud I was of her!  Lilly is very hard to take places because she is so independent, which is great and all, but not so great when she needs to be in the cart because of all the breakables.  She was a little angel!  After that we came home and she went right down for her nap and I searched the net for the perfect Halloween costume.  We are going to a big party on the 24th, and I really need something fab.  I am not sharing what it is, but it includes a corset and tutu.  OK, I have never been one to do something sexy at Halloween, but I figured this year, why not!  My friend and I decided just to do it!  So we'll see how my awkward self pulls this off.....

One of the reasons I have decided to get out of my comfort zone and do something a little daring is because I have lost some weight and i'm happy about it!   I just bought a pair of jeans at the Gap that are smaller than I wore in high school!  Who knows how long I will be able to keep the weight off since the holidays are right around the corner, but i'm proud!  I'll tell you though, even though my jeans are smaller my body is totally different since pregnancy.  You just don't ever look exactly the same, however, i'm happy with my new curves!

As promised, I have to include a pic of Lilly.  I wish I had my camera today, she looked so cute in her new little "fuggs."  Those are fake Uggs from Target, but she loves them and I love the price!  I'll get some later though, no worries....

This is when the hat obsession really kicked in, 13 months.  Look at how adorable this little one is in this outfit!  Love Hanna Anderson tights and loved that little beanie.  But every once in a while the hat obsession takes a turn for the worse, see below...

Only Pixi would buy her an Uncle Eddie hat, which she kept on for weeks last November.  We were getting all our Christmas stuff out here after Thanksgiving and she hopped in an empty bin.  I just remembered how UGLY our old floors were, yuck!
Just got a call from Daddy, he killed one of these with his new bow...

A girl deer????  Seriously???  I thought you wanted the horns to display?  Well, regardless, you couldn't pay me to eat venison.  No way.  So Clint will have loads of this meat with no one to eat it with, how sad.  Poor deer....
