Mother's Day

Yes, a little behind here!  I had a wonderful Mother's Day again this year, surrounded by my most favorite gals.  My mom came in for the weekend, which was great.  Friday we grilled out, David made his famous chicken wings.....mmmmmm!!
Ummm, hello adorableness.  Wow, she loves this man...
Lilly swaddle time, courtesy of good old Day-Bed!  I think he's just a tad bit crazy about this girl too...
Hahaha!!  Lilly burrito!
I had to work most of the day on Saturday so mom took Lilly to my friend Kelli's daughter's princess party then she took my sister and Lilly to the Dallas Museum of Art to spend the day.  I just love that my mom taught me the importance of the arts, and we are both now able to pass it along to Lilly.  Lilly LOVED it of course!  I guess they had a mummy exhibit, so Lilly had to stop at Barnes and Noble to find a mummy book on the way home.  How can you say no to that??  I was sad I missed it!  Friday was Muffins with Mom, which I always love.  Lilly loves when I come up to school and she made me this sweet table runner.
Handprints on anything always make this mommy happy!

Sunday we went to church and headed back home to cook breakfast for Pixi.  We ended up getting the call from Lauren about the proposal so off we all went to celebrate (and cry) with them.  Still can't wait for May 4, 2013 in Geary!!  They have the best style, it's going to be amazing.

Since I worked all day Saturday I decided I needed a little day off to spend with my babe.  I desperately needed my nails done, so we went there first, then Lilly decided that the Dallas Zoo was the place to be.  It was the perfect day!  Not crowded and the animals were all out.....they even had sweet little koala bears.  I want to hold one!
Hi there.
Put your paws up baby...
Lilly...."OH MOMMY....I would not want you to eat her piggies like you eat MINE!!!"  Love that.  She was genuinely concerned that maybe, just maybe I was considering it.  HA!
Love spending time with my baby.  This weekend we are going to my parents for Memorial Day.  The pool is open, the grill will be put to good use, and just having our family time with our number one princess will be wonderful.
