That precious, adorable puppy that we just got.....
Is so very much harder than this ever was.....
Babies are easier. Sleepless nights, covered in spit up, nursing, anything with a newborn, is easier than this puppy.
Maybe it's a four year old with the 12 week old? No clue.
How I will manage this tiny, pint size ball of cuteness come Monday when work starts is a question that is causing me much stress. We love her to death, but wow....she's one crazy pup!! She already knows how to sit, speak, high five, and come....but potty outside, NO way, NO how, OUT of the question for Miss Belle. Westie's are very, very smart, and don't get me wrong, she is so precious. However, I think I have been peed on three times today so far. How on earth do you do this???? Right now I have resorted to keeping her in her kennel nearly all day and night so she gets used to it, which I know is a good thing. If she is awake she is in the kitchen, with the help of french doors and baby gates. Scrubbing the carpet is just not something I like doing all day.
She is going back to the vet again soon for more shots, so maybe he will have some advice for this struggling new puppy mommy!!
Ahhhh, the joys of puppyhood....
