This past weekend we ended out spring break with some mommy/ daughter fun! Throw in an auntie Em and it turned out to be really fun! First we went shopping. I was looking for a dress, shoes, accessories for my cousin's wedding, and Lilly got some goodies too. Oh and she got a treat.....
Ice cream pit stop! When did Marble Slab get so freaking expensive???? It was ridiculous. I prefer the frozen yogurt places and Lilly does too because it's easier to eat. That's where we will be next time.
YEE HAW!!! Saturday we headed down to Fort Worth to go to the stockyards. So fun, gorgeous weather, all around such a great afternoon. We had yummy, greasy burgers at the Love Shack and listened to a little Brad Hines. Lilly got to sit on this giant longhorn too! She was a little hesitant, she's a total girly girl like mommy. But I did manage to get just close enough to this giant thing in order to get a pic....
A little awkward, I'm just close enough without having to actually rub against this thing. It was kinda cute though! Then we went and saw lots and lots of animals in the stockyards.
Brad Hines.....he's become pretty known around here due to both the Mix men I know.

Then we packed up Baby Dear and Jeffie and headed to the Fort Worth Zoo, along with the rest of the metroplex. It was a madhouse and people are so inconsiderate there sometimes. I think this may be one of the last time's she rides in her stroller though. I just feel safer having her confined when we are in places with lots of people.

Emma got her this cute little tiger thing. She has been bathing and sleeping with it.
We're hot, and tired, and Jeffie looks to be ready for a nap himself. Time to head home! However when we got home we discovered one thing.....
We forgot Lucy and Lola. Big tears. I felt horrible but what can you do? We also managed to loose a Jasmine doll. We replaced her and came home to give lots of love to our favorite monkeys.
Sunday we just hung out around the house and played! It was great!
Can we discuss how big she looks in this photo? This just doesn't seem right!!

How crazy is this???? She found this little swing in my garage and now it is Baby Dear's favorite thing. So strange to watch her sitting there when she used to swing in it!
Fun weekend was had by all, especially Miss LG!
