Day 6

So i'm a little behind........

OK, Day 6 is whatever tickles your fancy.  Hmmm.  I'm going to do this post on some of my top summer items!  It is over 100 degrees every single freaking day here in North Texas and as much as I love summer fun, I am ready for the cool, crisp air of fall.  I'm ready for scarfs, boots, and football.  However, until then, i'll fill you in with some of my favorite and necessary things so you can maybe use them in in the final weeks of heat.

1.  Kerastase Oleo Relax
Simply amazing!!  This little orange bottle does wonders on your hair in the summer humidity.  I've used Biosilk for years and this trumps it.  It smells super yummy too.  It costs a pretty penny though, about $34 a bottle, so use it sparingly.

2.  Fresh Pink Jasmine

This is my all-time favorite perfume!  It is light, fresh, floral, and absolutely perfect for summer time.  I hate it when a girl walks by me drenched in a super heavy perfume when it is so hot.  I wear heavy scents too sometimes, but definitely not in the summer time.  I buy this at Sephora, but I know you can find it online too.  Heaven!

3.  Yucatan Taco Stand

OMG.....if you haven't been, GO, now.  This little place is a-mazing and I am completely obsessed.  They have the best tacos around and the best ritas too.  Just go, seriously.  You will be in love too.  Totally random because most of my items are beauty related, but i'm hungry right now so cut me some slack.  ha!

4.  White nail polish

I just love this look for summer.  I don't know if it's been trendy for a while or not but i'm loving it all of a sudden.

5.  Homemade salsa

This is a secret recipe of my mom's friend that she finally shared with me, which I turned around and shared with Sarah, ha!   We had a salsa making party on Friday night with friends and this was the final product.  The best salsa ever.  Just don't wear white jeans (another summer fav) when you're boiling and peeling pounds of tomatoes.....lots of bleach will be needed.

I can't think of anything else right now except salsa and Yucatan so i'm going to end stop there.  I will add later if I think of any more summer loves!
