Little Miss Lilly Poo

Since I haven't done it in a while, I will fill everyone in on some of Lilly's favorite things these days....

Lilly Grace is 29 months tomorrow, my GOODNESS, that sounds soooooo old!  She's growing so fast!  She is very tall, in the 99th percentile, and she is starting to slow down on her weight now being in or a little more than 75th percentile.  She still is dripping in that baby chub, which mommy just loves!  Can't get enough chunky belly and piggy kisses!  Her favorite books are Baby Dear, all the Lonely Doll books, I Spy, and Fancy Nancy.  She loves to read and we usually read several times a day.  She loves watching Olivia, Max and Ruby, and Gabba still, but she HATES Lazytown.....she will throw a plain fit if I don't change the channel fast enough.  She also loves "icky mouse."  She loves to cook in her kitchen, color, and especially play baby dolls.  Pretty much everything!  She loves playing with make up and jewelry and loves sitting in mommy's sink while I get ready for the day.  She loves getting her hair dryed and styled, so cute.  The potty training is, well, going I suppose.  I haven't really started going full speed with it, but I will in April i've decided.  She has become quite the dancer and every night after her bath she insists on a dance party.  Usually naked for her, she loves to be naked, funny girl!

Lilly is obsessed with all things sweet, go figure.  It doesn't matter what meal it is or what time of the day it is, but she will always ask for mac n' cheese and a sucker.  She rarely gets suckers, but she tries for one non-stop, sweet baby.  She loves dill pickles, spears only, and can't get into her morning routine without her spoon of peanut butter.  She loves our Friday night pizza/popcorn/icecream cone movie nights and asks to do them daily.
Lilly loves going to school on Thursdays and has a new friend, Renner, who she talks about all the time.  But don't worry, she still knows who her lover man is, her Ry Ry.  She also loves making silly faces and is talking up a storm!  She is also such a sensitive little thing and gets her feelings hurt very easily, much like mommy again, especially these days, HA!  She loves when mommy sings "the way you look tonight", which we sing every night.  Lilly also loves to say her prayers and loves telling me when she is mad, sad, or happy.....maybe we have a little actress in that department!  She loves her family too, which makes me smile.  She loves her Auntie Em and LOVES her Pixi.  She also have a fascination with my dad, Bampa, and when she talks about him she screams his name and does this sneaky eye thing.  It's very cute.

Sometimes I wonder how I will explain everything about what has happened when she asks.  I think about it a lot actually.  I hope that can be a conversation we have when we're chatting someday a long time from now. I hope she knows that I did everything I could, I was strong for her, and yes I was very sad at times, but I tried endlessly to make a new life for her.  I was honorable, true, and stood by my convictions.  I wanted to set example of a strong, Godly woman.  A woman who can pick up the pieces and be independent.  I hope she knows that, but she will always know that she is safe, and always loved her mommy.

So there you have it!  Basically that is my 29 month old, Lilly Grace in a nutshell!
