So.....we have gone back to the crib for now. I tried, and I must say that Lilly playing in her room until 11 pm is really cramping my style. She likes her crib and thats where she wants to be so for now that's where she will be. Maybe next week will be different but tonight she's there. She's a little too tall in there, especially with all her books, toys, etc, but hey she likes it and she falls asleep at 9 instead of 11. We'll see what happens though. She has all of a sudden decided that she will only nap some days, on her terms. Yesterday she was up there for 2.5 hours, not crying, but not sleeping. Is this normal for a two year old? I really liked the naps......
Anyways, today Lilly got some new markers and we drew a kitty face on her. She LOVED this! Later we drew a watch and necklace too. Total fun two year old entertainment! I couldn't really get a pic of our new kitty but here is one that kind of gives you the idea.
On a sadder note, one of our fav stores ever Pumpkin Patch is going out of business. Very sad, yes, but the sale, makes mommy very happy. We stocked up on some size 2 clothes, which will last FOREVER. Lilly can still fit into size 6-12 months stretchies from there. The size two fit but I know will fit through fall. Lilly girl, being the fashionista that she is, decided she needed to put on a few things. No matching required.....oh I love her so.
