So I have really been trying to increase my running lately and on Thursday I got up to 6 miles!! YES, I thought, 62 minutes, 900 calories, this was great! I was so proud of myself, then the pain set it. I have never run that far before and every single bone/muscle in my body was in a hell of a lot of agony. I waited until Sunday to go back and did a lot of stretching in between then to try to recuperate my aching body. Sunday was OK....ran three miles, got off, did some crunches and stuff, then went back and did another two. Good.
Today.....I could barely get to two miles!!! SERIOUSLY???? I really hate to be blogging about this but I am seriously pissed! I could have screamed at myself in the gym. I was seriously dying on that treadmill today and for what reason? Two miles, that's normally right where I get my second wind and I can keep going......
Is this normal? How do you loose everything you've been working for in a matter of days.....i'll be back tomorrow after the gym and we'll see how that goes!
On another note....my dear friend, Pascale, called me today all the way from France. She is my oldest friend, we met in 2nd grade, and she is so special to me. We're hoping that I can get over there in 2010, she was here last time as you can see by the pic. This is from our wedding and she is on the far left. I miss her so much! As for the red concoction we are about to drink, I have no idea. HA!!
