For the past two evenings I have been working on this little skirt. I have a pattern and it looked fairly simple, but oh lord it took FOREVER! Since this was my first one to make, it could use a little more attention to detail and perfection, I was just giving it a shot with some scrap fabric. I would not have used the white thread and the directions were a little unclear, so now I know where to make my own changes. I think it turned out pretty cute though! It's very fluffy and full almost like a tutu. I figured Lilly girl could wear it this weekend to a party we are going to, afterall she is the best model. I am making her a little tank to go with it with some fabric appliques on it. Have to do that today, and possibly a bow. Check back for pics of her in it!
I am not super crazy about this fabric all together but it is just what I had handy. I just ordered a ton of Amy Butler and Michael Miller fabrics though, sooooooo stinking cute!!!!
