I know, how awful and so unlike me! It is only Tuesday but this week has been nuts. We have finally picked a granite and a backsplash, finally. Who knew how difficult it would be. We have decided on Tropical brown for granite (thanks Ashlee, you confirmed that it was perfect) and a tumbled travertine 4 inch tile backsplash. We are doing it pretty simple because our kitchen is fairly small. Our cabinets will be an antique white with bronzish hardware. Our floors are a scraped bamboo. They start the floors, which is the biggest deal on March 2.
Anyways....now that that's out of the way on to more exciting stuff. Tomorrow we leave for sunny (hopefully, i've heard otherwise) Florida! Cody is getting married to precious Penny and we can't wait to get away without Lilly. Cody is Clint's brother and we couldn't be happier for them!! We get back Saturday so don't be expecting posts. I booked my flight out of OKC so that I could bring Lilly to stay with her grandparents and since we are having all this work done on our house right after we get back I will be staying here for a while. Probably two or three weeks!! Long time....especially without my sister here. The second I walked in I felt like something was missing and Lilly was saying "Emmm-maaaaa" over and over. It will definitely be strange being home without her.
So be expecting some posts but probably not too many with pics! On another note, sweet baby Cora's family is updating their profile a lot more now and her mother is making several dresses and fun items for her etsy store she wants to start. I will post a link to it when it gets up and hopefully mine will be up someday too!
