Good old fashioned Texas weekend

This Saturday after Lilly's dance pics, I headed out to Fort Worth with my sister and David for some yummy food, music, and just plain old fun.  I LOVE it out there and would move there in a second if I could.  The weather was perfect and it was just a perfect day for an outing.  We stopped and had yummy Love Shack burgers, which are melt in your mouth delish, and listened to some Brad Hines Band at White Elephant.

We also went through and looked at the animals, which I love.  I'm sort of scared to touch, especially this little guy, but I love to walk around and look at them.

I think we may go back next Saturday when David's brother is in town.  This time the food is my choice....Angelos here we come!!!  MMMMMM.....(que mouth watering)......

Sunday I went to the gym and to Home Depot to pick out some flowers and get some yard stuff.  The weeds in TX could literally eat my puppy I think and I think they are blowing in from my neighbors house.  I did some planting, managed to get a horrible sunburn, and headed to lunch with this little man.  

He loved watching Miss Molly eat oysters....yummmm....for 66 cents each these were a-mazing!  Big and yummy, just the way I like them!  On the way home I saw a garage sale in my neighborhood and found this little gem for $15!!!

Hello Lilly's new bed!!  I think I'm going to paint it coral or even upholster it.  Can NOT wait to start her big girl room, which is completely pinterest inspired.  Re-doing furniture is so fun and such a good way to save $$$!  Lots of spring projects coming up.  Can't wait!!
