Prayer Pail

So sweet baby love has been struck by seasonal asthma once again.  This breaks my heart into a million pieces, because watching her couch and struggle to catch her breath is so hard.  Sunday night she was up for most of the night and I was up from 12-6 making sure she was ok, propping up her pillow, giving her breathing treatments, all that good stuff mommies do.  Finally, I just decided to put her in bed with me and she did a little better snuggling close to mommy.  I gave her one breathing treatment and it was so quiet, and she was all snuggled in my arms, and I just fell in love with this precious girl even more.  It's been a rough couple of weeks for me and even though I hated that she was sick, I just loved snuggling with her and my heart felt so full and complete.
After coughing all night, her eyes were pretty puffy the next day.  Thankfully we got her fixed up early Monday am.
With the "puppy nebby." We both decided that we needed a little mommy/daughter time, so we went straight to the hair salon.  We are getting our pics taken at the end of the month, so a sassy new do was a definite must.
I think it brightened her spirits just a tad :)
Then we made our prayer pail!  I have been so excited about this!  We made this bucket and got popsicle sticks, then we wrote the names of people we love on each one.  I just have to say that she is so sweet, she came up with all the names.  Ms. Shelly, Maggie, James, Pixi, Austin.....just to name a few.
Cutie pie.
First name we drew....Ms. COCO!!  She said "I pray that Coco learns to talk soon so we can talk on the phone."  Tonight she drew Daddy, and we will continue to draw every night until they're gone.  She is so good at saying her prayers every night and I think this is a tradition we will keep every year when the holidays roll around.  Always a great time to lift up some prayers and be thankful for everyone in our lives.
We did our nails, started a big puzzle in the dining room, and snuggled into bed.  Not without some silly face time :)
And smooches!
Just love this sweet girl too much!  Here's hoping her little asthma situation only lasts a little bit and here's to many more fun traditions with my girl.
This is just fitting tonight.....Love me some Dave Barnes, we sing this all the time at bedtime :)
