Cute idea!

Thank you Laura, over at The Steen Style, for giving me the inspiration (and directions) on how to do this little cute letter.  It was messy, and Lilly was all up in the mess, but I think it turned out super cute.  I chose leopard ribbon because I have a leopard door mat, so it matches perfectly.  My "A" was kind if tricky at times to cover with the moss, and I burned myself way too much with my hot glue gun, but soooo cute!
Now, the my letter was kind of difficult to hang up.  I thought it would look cute sideways or with two pieces of ribbon (like Laura did) but the "A" just wouldn't allow anything but this.  It looks a lot better in person and I'd love to do some more letters for the inside of my house.  I thought about doing HOPE and hanging them on top of each other connected by ribbon.  Cute!  **Oh and please excuse my ghetto fabulous arbor.  Maybe next time before I start snapping pics for the blog I should spruce it up.  But, to my defense, it has been really windy!
I bought two packages of the moss, which can be found at Hobby Lobby by the twig wreaths and homecoming mums.  You only need one for a letter this size, which is about 12 inches tall.  I wish it was bigger.

But thank you Laura!  Everyone should check out her blog because she has GREAT home decor tips and fun do-it-yourself ideas!
