Everyone knows I love Carrie Underwood! I think she is an amazing person and such a good role model for all the girls out there. I have loved this song for so long, so I was so happy she made a video for it. It also has her super-cute hubby in it! This song has so many different meanings for me. I think about Lilly and how someday she will be a beautiful, smart woman making her way and life. I also think about my mom and how she has had to watch what she thought was a good thing for me, turn into a nightmare. I can't imagine watching your child go through what I have been through this past year and i'm guessing it was harder on her. I can't wait for the day when she can hear this song and it will make sense because I will have a good, honest man who doesn't do horrible, jaw-dropping things. That's my future, nothing less.
"He treats your little girl like a real man should....." Can't wait to say that to my momma and mean it and have her believe it.
